Meet Dr. Christopher Henninger

Dr Henninger - San Diego Dentist

We do dental implants differently. Implant solutions are available in the comfort of one office, with one dentist — no more running back and forth between offices. Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we also offer sedation for your procedure.

I am one of only 5% of restorative dentists in the United States who has been certified by the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology to perform IV Sedation.

IV sedation is a wonderful option for patients who have dental anxiety or who need complex dental treatment, including dental implants. You can simply sit back, relax, and receive the beautiful smile you deserve.

My Experience and Education

After graduating from dental school, I completed a one-year residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, where I focused on oral surgery, complex dental treatments, and dental anesthesia. I also served as the only dentist on the USS Boxer in the U.S. Navy, where I deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2009.

I currently hold hospital privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and Tri-City Medical Center. Restorative dentistry is not only my core area of training and experience, it is also my passion in which I pursue an ever-higher standard of excellence.

Why Should You Choose Dr. Henninger?

Experience makes all the difference when it comes to dental implant placement. A dentist with more experience can place your implants in a more accurate position, with precision.

At my office, I use CBCT technology to create a 3D image of your teeth to help me better place your dental implants. This technology adds another layer of protection for you during the implant process and makes implant placement more accurate.

I am proud of my work and I am more than happy to show you case studies of the results that I’ve helped past patients achieve. My San Diego patients love showing off their beautiful new smiles — and it’s easy to see why from their pictures.
